Pattamada Cariappa (Brijesh), son of ex-serviceman Uthappa (a resident of Hunsur town’s Bore), passed away at his residence in Tumakuru yesterday. He was 49. He leaves behind his parents, wife, two sons and a host of relatives and friends. He had also served in the Indian Army and after retirement, was working at a private company in Tumakuru. He was the captain of Hunsur Cricket Team. Last rites were performed at Hebbal in Bengaluru this afternoon.
