Pave the pathway for pedestrian safety in Yadavagiri

March 9, 2025

Sir,

This is not the first time I am writing about the state of our Paramahamsa Road in Yadavagiri. Repeatedly, it has been brought to the notice of the authorities concerned, that, we the regular users of this road, have only this path to reach Vontikoppal, Ramakrishna Ashram, Venkataramanaswamy Temple.

But unfortunately, this route is being constantly dug up and now the pavement right from Ramakrishna Vidyashala to the traffic lights junction is uprooted on both the sides of the road! How are we to walk? Risk our frail frames from the speeding 2, 3, 4 and multi-tyred vehicles, crisscrossing the pile of debris?

I urge the authorities to take immediate measures to pave the pathway, as it is our right to walk on well-laid roads, as tax-paying citizens of this beautiful city.
