Pedestrian fatally knocked down by two-wheeler

Mysore/Mysuru: A 43-year-old pedestrian died after being knocked down by a speeding two-wheeler near JK Tyre on KRS Road yesterday.

Siddaraju (43), son of late Siddashetty and a resident of Ekalavyanagar in city, is the deceased.

Siddaraju was crossing KRS Road near JK Tyre at about       9 pm yesterday, when he was knocked down by a two-wheeler. Siddaraju, who sustained serious head and body injuries, was immediately rushed to K.R. Hospital, where he succumbed to injuries at 3 am early this morning. The two-wheeler rider fled from the spot soon after the accident leaving behind the vehicle, it is learnt.

Siddaraju leaves behind his wife and two daughters.

 V.V. Puram Traffic Police have registered a case.
