Pedestrian killed as bike hits

Mysuru: A pedestrian died of injuries at a private hospital in city after he was hit by a two-wheeler at Doddahundi village in the taluk on Friday night.

The deceased has been identified as Mahadevu (55), son of Mallegowda of Doddahundi village.

On Friday night, Mahadevu, after leaving his two-wheeler at a garage for repairs in Daaripura village, was walking towards his village when a bike hit him, causing serious injuries to him.

Though he was rushed to a private hospital in Mysuru, Mahadevu succumbed to injuries.

Post-mortem was conducted yesterday morning and the body was handed over to the family members. Jayapura Police have registered a case.
