Pedestrian killed as KSRTC bus hits

Mysore/Mysuru: A woman, who was crossing the road, was killed when a KSRTC bus hit her on Nelson Mandela Road on Nov. 18 evening. The deceased has been identified as Sathyabhama (55), a housemaid and a resident of K.R. Mills Colony.

Sathyabhama, after finishing her work, was crossing the road near Bal Bhavan in Bannimantap when KSRTC bus (KA-09-F-5111), coming from Highway Circle side hit her resulting in serious injuries to Sathyabhama. She breathed her last while being rushed to K.R. Hospital. NR Traffic Police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
