Pedestrian killed on T. Narasipur Road

Mysuru: A 55-year-old man was killed on the spot when a speeding private bus rammed into him on Mysuru-T. Narasipur Road near Duddagere Cross last evening.

The deceased is Mahadevappa, son of Shivarajappa and a resident of Puttegowdanahundi, Varuna Hobli in the taluk.

Mahadevappa was walking on the roadside when the speeding private bus which came from Mysuru side reportedly hit him resulting in Mahadevappa suffering serious head injuries.

He died on the spot, according to the Police.

Varuna Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
