Mysore/Mysuru: Pejawar Sridhama’s Sasyodhyana has bagged first place in the Garden Contest organised by the Horticulture Department as part of Dasara Flower Show.

This is the 3rd consecutive year that Sridhama has won the first place.

Pejawar Sridhama Horticulture Supervisor Jayaram received the prize at the valedictory of Dasara Flower Show organised at Kuppanna Park in city recently.

Pejawar Mutt Seer late Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji established Pejawar Sridhama for aged people. It is a care home for senior citizens which is located in J.P. Nagar.

Elderly people who are homeless, helpless and have no money are provided shelter here.

Sridhama has created a homely environment to all the inmates by providing facilities such as health check-up, entertainment, nutritious food, separate beds, ambulance etc.

Sridhama has a well-maintained garden with colourful flowers all around.
