People watch in awe as fighter jets decorate the skies during Dasara Air Show

October 25, 2023

Thousands of people, who gathered at Torchlight Parade Grounds in Bannimantap, Mysuru, on Sunday and Monday evenings, watched in awe as the fighter jets decorated the skies with various formations. The dare-devil act was performed by Surya Kiran Aerobatic team of the Indian Air Force (IAF) as part of Dasara 2023 Air Show. However, the thrilled gathering was soon disappointed as the Air Show concluded in just 45 minutes and hoped for a spectacular show in next year’s Dasara. While the Air Show on Oct. 22 was open to the public, the show on Oct. 23 was only for people who had passes distributed by the Office of the Mysuru City Police Commissioner. Chief Minister Siddharamaiah, District Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa, Mayor Shivakumar, MLA Tanveer Sait and other dignitaries were witness to the Air Show on Monday.
