Mysore/Mysuru: Pet lovers have adopted orphaned, stray and rescued cats and dogs at the adoption mela organised by People For Animals (PFA) at its premises in SBM Layout, Bogadi, here yesterday morning.

At the adoption mela, about 60 people visited and adopted six kittens and three puppies and they were educated about taking care of the health and raising their pets by resource persons and People For Animals Veterinarians.

Speaking on the occasion, People For Animals Managing Trustee Savitha Nagabhushan said that the adoption process at People For Animals takes place daily and in order to create awareness about the adoption, an adoption mela was held.
