Petrol bunk staff flees with Rs.17 lakh

Bylakuppe:  A staff of the petrol bunk, run by Tibetan Co-operative Society at Bylakuppe in Periyapatna taluk, has fled with Rs.17 lakh, the two days sales collection of the bunk.

The person, who fled with the collection money, has been identified as Tenzin Sosnastro, who was residing at a house adjacent to Bylakuppe Gram Panchayat office.

Tenzin, instead of depositing Rs.6 lakh collected through sales, had kept it with him and after collecting Rs.11 lakh on the next day, he (Tenzin) fled along with his family with a total of Rs.17 lakh. Tupten, head of the Co-operative Society of Tibetan TDL Camp, has lodged a complaint with Bylakuppe Police.

Circle Inspector P. Lokesh, who has registered a case in this regard, is investigating.
