PGL Memorial Music Concerts at Nadabrahma from tomorrow

Mysore/Mysuru: PGL Samsmarana Vedike has organised the 16th year music programmes in memory of the great guru and artiste Karnataka Kalashree Vid. P.G. Lakshminarayana (PGL) at Vasudevacharya Bhavan, Sri Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha, on JLB Road in city on Dec. 13 and 14.

Dec. 13 (6 pm): Renowned mridanga artiste Karnataka Kalashree Vid. T.S. Chandrashekar will be felicitated and conferred with the title ‘Nadalaya Visharada’ and this would be followed by a Karnatak Music Vocal Concert by Dr. R.S. Nandakumar, accompanied by Vid. Veena Suresh on violin, Vid. T.S. Chandrashekar on mridanga and Vid. M.R. Manjunath on ghata.

Dec. 14 (6 pm): Flute Duet by Vid. Herambha and  Vid. Hemantha accompanied by Dr. Jyotsna Srikantha on violin, Vid. Arjun Kumar on mridanga and Vid. Narayana Murthy on ghata.
