Ph.D and Young Scientist Award

H.G. Ravi Shankar, Associate Professor, BGS Degree College, Kuvempunagar, Mysuru, has been awarded Ph.D in Zoology by Bharathidasan University, Tamil Nadu, for his thesis ‘Studies on Eco-ornithological features and Community- based Management of Pelicans (Pelecanus philippensis) with idiosyncratic diversity components at Kokkare Bellur, Karnataka, India’ [Guide: Dr. Madhura Moji].

He has also been awarded ‘Young Scientist Award’ at ICEESMR-2023 for research on Tribal medicine [Guide: Prof. G. Panduranga Murthy].
