K. Sowmya has been awarded Ph.D in English by the Vijayanagara Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Ballari, for her thesis ‘Narrating Self: Understanding the Feminism in the Select Dalit Women’s Writings’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. G.K. Santhosha.
