Mysore/Mysuru: The University of Mysore (UoM) has awarded Ph.D in Economics to H.S. Umesha  for his thesis ‘An Economic Analysis of the Pattern of Domestic Household Savings in Karnataka with Particular Reference to Mandya District’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. B.C. Neelakanta.

K. Usha Rani has been awarded Ph.D in Ancient History and Archaeology by UoM for her thesis ‘Heritage Tourism in Karnataka with Special Reference to Tourism in Srirangapatna’ [Guide: Dr. N.S. Rangaraju].

N. Harisha has been awarded Ph.D in Economics by the Tumkur University for his thesis ‘Economic and Environmental Impact of Tourism: A Study of Coastal Karnataka’ [Guide: Prof. Jayasheela].
