B. Usha has been awarded Ph.D in English by the UoM for her thesis ‘Rethinking Partition: Gender, Nation and Memory in Select Novels by Women Writers’ [Guide: Dr. K. Yeshoda Nanjappa].

C.B. Rajeswari has been awarded Ph.D in Sociology by the Karnataka State Open University, Mysuru, for her thesis ‘Feminization of Poverty: Unorganized Women Workers in an Urban Setting’ [Guide: Dr. M.H. Krishnappa].

K.M. Anil Kumar has been awarded Ph.D in Environmental Science by JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research, Mysuru, for his thesis ‘Extraction and Demonstration of Bioactive Compounds from Selected Endemic Plant Species in Western Ghats, Shimoga region’ [Guide: Dr. H.P. Shivaraju].

Vishishtta Nagaraj has been awarded Ph.D in Environmental Engineering by the Visvesaraya Technological University of Belagavi for her thesis ‘Advance Ground Water Treatment Technology for Removal of Hardness, Fluoride and Nitrate’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. B. Manoj Kumar.

S. Raghu has been awarded Ph.D in Industrial and Production Engineering by the Visvesaraya Technological University, Belagavi, for his thesis ‘Synthesis of Aluminium Based Composites and Effect of Various Sizes of TiO2 Nano-Particles on Mechanical and Tribological Properties’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. H.M. Nanjundaswamy.
