Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, has awarded Ph.D in Electro-nics and Comm-unication Engineering to G. Manjula for her thesis ‘Identification of the Features of Stuttering through Automatic Speech Recognition and Validation’ [Guide: Dr. M. Shivakumar and Dr. Y.V. Geetha].

K. Mohanakumara has been awarded Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering by VTU, Belagavi, for his thesis ‘Study of Mechanical and Tribological Characteristics of as cast and extruded Al-SiCp Metal Matrix Composites’ [Guide: Dr. S.L. Ajit Prasad].
