Mysuru: The University of Mysore (UoM) has awarded Ph.D in Law to B.P. Mahesh for his thesis ‘Legal Regime on the Protection of Software with Special Reference to Software Piracy — A Critical Study’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. C. Basavaraju.

K.R. Mahendra has been awarded Ph.D in Chemistry by the UoM for his thesis ‘Synthesis, Characterization and Liquid Crystals Studies of Oxadiazoles, Pyrazoles and Quinazoline Derivatives’ [Guide: Dr. K.M. Lokanatha Rai].
