The University of Mysore (UoM) has awarded Ph.D in Gandhian Studies to M. Mamatha for her thesis ‘Gandhijiyavara Chintaneya Panchayat Raj Vyavastheyalli Mahila Rajakiya Sabalikarandalli Sthaliya Sarkaragala Paatra: Visheshavagi Davanagere Jilleya Ondu Adhyayana’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. G.H. Nagaraja.

Mamatha has been awarded Ph.D in Library and Information Science by the UoM for her thesis ‘An Assessment of the Attitude Towards Collection Security Issues in College Libraries’ [Guide: Dr. Khaiser Nikam].

K.B. Sowmya has been awarded Ph.D in Communication and Journalism by the UoM for her thesis ‘Prathamika Shala Vidyarthigala Mele Shaikshanika Radio Prabhava: Karnataka Rajyadalli Anthara Kriyatmaka Radio Karyakramada Ondu Adhyayana’ [Guide: Dr. N. Usha Rani].

Shanmuga Sundaram has been awarded Ph.D in Biochemistry by the UoM for his thesis ‘An Insight into the Anti-arthritic Role of Tamarind Seed Extract’ [Guide: Dr. K.S. Girish].

T.M. Naveena has been awarded Ph.D in Geography by the UoM for her thesis ‘Urban and Rural Disparities in Food Security: A Case Study of Mysore District’ [Guide: Dr. Asima Nusrath].

B.K. Srinivasa has been awarded Ph.D in Kannada by the UoM for his thesis ‘K. Marulasiddappa Avara Sahitya’ [Guide: Dr. Krishnamurthy Hanooru].
