Mysuru: The University of Mysore (UoM) has awarded Ph.D in Kannada to D.C. Chithralingaiah for his thesis ‘Chitayya: Samskruthika Adhyayana’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. K. Thimmaiah.

Nazhath Sara has been awarded Ph.D in Sociology by the UoM for her thesis ‘Process of Social Transformation Among Muslim Women: A Sociological Study in Mysore City’ [Guide: Dr. S. Yashoda].

H.M. Manukumar has been awarded Ph.D in Biotechnology by the UoM for his thesis   ‘Molecular Characterization of Food-Borne Staphylococcus Aureus and Designing of Novel Anti-Biofilm Material for food Packaging’ [Guide: Dr. S. Umesha].

Sudha A. Rao has been awarded Ph.D in Human Development by the UoM for her thesis ‘Problem Behaviours, Interpersonal Relationship and Emotional Intelligence Among Youth of Bangalore City’ [Guide:  Dr. M. Komala].

Bhuvan E. Nalige has been awarded Ph.D in Mathematics by the UoM for his thesis ‘A Classical Approach to Ramanujan’s Type Eisenstein Series and Incomplete Elliptic Integrals” [Guide: Dr. K.R. Vasuki].

B.V. Jeevan has been awarded Ph.D in Chemistry by the UoM for his thesis “Synthesis Characterisation and Biological Activities of Glutarimide Alkaloids and its Derivatives” [Guide: Dr. M.N. Kumara].

B.M. Sankarshan has been awarded Ph.D in Physics by the UoM for his thesis ‘Compton Scattering Studies on Some Materials [Guide: Dr. T.K. Umesh].
