Mysuru: The University of Mysore (UoM) has awarded Ph.D in Environmental Science to M. Bhanu Prakash for his thesis “Adsorption Techniques for the Removal of Dyes from Textile Industry Effluents Using Natural Adsorbents” submitted under the guidance of Dr. S.L. Belagali.

T.R. Deepak has been awarded Ph.D in English by the UoM for his thesis “Ethnic Space in Earl Lovelace’s Fiction: A Post-colonial  Study” submitted under the guidance of Dr. K.T. Sunitha.

C.V. Srinivasa has been awarded Ph.D in Economics by the UoM for his thesis “Economic Viability of Alternative Crops to Tobacco- A Study of Mysore District” submitted under the guidance of Dr. Shivanand Nari.

S. Manikanta has been awarded Ph.D in History by the University of Mysore for his thesis “Gundlupet Talukina Devalayagalau – Ondu Samskruthika Adhyayana” submitted under the guidance of Dr. R. Rajanna.

M. Vishwanatha has been awarded Ph.D in History by UoM for his thesis “Chamarajanagar Jilleya Pravasi Thanagala  Ondu Samskruthika Adhayana” submitted under the guidance of Dr. R. Rajanna.

N.Deepa has been awarded Ph.D in Microbiology by UoM for her thesis “Development of Nested and Multiplex PCR for the Early Detection of Fumonisin producing Fusarium Verticillioides Associated with Cereals” submitted under the guidance of Dr. M.Y. Sreenivasa.
