Mysuru: Dhananjaya Palahalli has been awarded Ph.D in Kannada  by the University of Mysore (UoM) for his thesis ‘Kyathanahalli Ramanna avara sahitya mattu janapada samshodane’ [Guide:  Dr. T. Jayalakshmi].

R. Suma has been awarded Ph.D in Speech and Hearing  by the UoM for her thesis ‘Cognitive linguistic skills in bilinguals’ [Guide: Dr. N.P. Nataraja].

M.B. Deepa has been awarded Ph.D in Political Science by the UoM for her thesis ‘Karnatakada budakattu janara abhivrudhige sarvajanika neetigalu mattu abhivrudhi yojanegalu: Visheshavagi Kodagu jillege sambandisidante 2000-2010 ondu adhyayana’ [Guide: Dr. Krishna Hombal].

Nagaveni has been awarded Ph.D in Linguistics by the UoM for her thesis ‘A contrastive analysis of cases in Hindi and Kannada’ [Guide: Dr. C.V. Shivaramakrishna].

S. Sudarshan has been awarded Ph.D in Sugar Technology  by the UoM for her thesis ‘Studies on sugarcane genotype screening for Internode Borer (Chilo Sacchariphagus Indicus) Incidences and their biochemical characterisation’  [Guide: Dr. M.A. Harish Nayaka].
