Mysuru: The University of Mysore (UoM) has awarded Ph.D degree in Economics to S.V. Kavitha for her thesis “An Economic Analysis of Maternal Mortality: With Special Reference to Mysore District” submitted under the guidance of Dr. G.S. Premakumara.

V. Krishna Kumar has been awarded Ph.D in Geography by the UoM for his thesis “Changing Land use pattern and its Impacts on Environs of Mysore City” submitted under the guidance of Dr. Subash S. Sannashiddannanavar.

Kashinath Lellala has been awarded Ph.D degree in Material Science by the UoM for his thesis “Fabrication and Processing of Hybrid Metal Oxide/Metal Sulphide-Graphene Oxide Nanocomposites and their Potential Applications” submitted under the guidance of Dr. K. Byrappa.

The University of  Mysore has awarded Ph.D in Commerce to J. Pooja for her thesis “Organizational Climate: A Comparative Analysis of Public and Private Sector Banks” submitted under the guidance of Dr. B. Nagaraju.
