Photo, Videography banned at Hill temple

In what is said to be a security measure, Sri Chamundeshwari  Kshetra Development Authority has strictly banned Photography and Videography in the precincts of Chamundeshwari temple (including sanctum sanctorum and devotee spaces) atop Chamundi Hill, with effect from Oct. 1.  Accordingly, devotees visiting the temple are required to switch off their mobile phones before entering the Hill temple, according to a press release.
