Pig rearers told to rear the animals in own places

March 13, 2019

Despite giving several notices individually and through the media by the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) asking pig rearers not to leave the animals on roads and public places, most of the pig rearers are still leaving the animals on roads and other places coming under MCC limits which is leading to accidents besides causing inconvenience to the public.  Hence, the Civic Body has issued a final notice asking pig owners to rear them in their own place, failing which the stray pigs would be seized, according to a press release from the MCC Commissioner.
