Piped Natural Gas to Mysuru: Implement soon

March 22, 2022

Sir,

Dr. Bhamy Shenoy has clearly dissected and addressed all the issues around supplying Piped Natural Gas (PNG) in Mysuru starting from road-cutting (SOM  dated Feb. 13).

It is reassuring that PNG is environmentally less harmful and safer for homes than LPG.

Piped metered  gas supply to homes is especially convenient for senior citizens.

It is already being used in many parts of India including Bengaluru. I hope our elected leaders will look into the issue through a broader lens and support its early implementation.
