Plea to take action against cattle owners

January 30, 2018

Though the MCC is putting all efforts to make our city clean, cattle which are let loose on the streets are littering garbage by pulling them out from the bins. Not only will the street get dirty, the health of the cattle is also at risk by consuming garbage. One of SOM readers, who has sent this picture of cows feeding on garbage from the bins near Jayanagar Under-Bridge, has urged the authorities concerned to educate cattle owners about the health hazards faced by the cattle and penalise them for such offence in future.
