July 4, 2018

Mysuru:  Demanding appointment of a regular Vice-Chancellor for the University of Mysore (UoM), Paduvarahalli Srigandha Yuvakara Sangha staged a demonstration in front of Mahatma Gandhi’s bust opposite the City Law Courts complex yesterday.

Rangappa in January 2017, the protestors urged the Government and the Governor-Chancellor to take the matter seriously and appoint a renowned academician as VC at the earliest.

Sangha President M. Ramakrishna, aoffice-bearers K.H. Ramesh, Suresh, A.P. Rajesh Gowda, M. Shivaprakash and others took part in the protest demonstration.
