Plea to clear clogged drains at Ramakrishnanagar

Overgrown bushes and plants and also garbage dumped inside the drains at Ramakrishnanagar are hindering the smooth flow of sewage water inside the drain which remains stagnant at a few places emanating foul smell. Residents said that the stagnant water has become a place for the mosquitoes to breed. The residents have urged the authorities concerned to take steps to get the drains cleaned at the earliest as monsoon has begun.
