Plea to maintain the heritage DC Office building

July 15, 2020

The Mysuru Deputy Commissioner’s (DC) Office, which houses about 18 Government Departments and also known as ‘Atara Kacheri’ is a heritage structure which is not being maintained of late. Many plants have grown on the heritage structure with roots going deep inside the structure thus weakening it. Authorities concerned are urged to take steps to get the plants removed from the building and maintain the heritage structure periodically.
