Plea to name a Circle after Pailwan Tiger Balaji

Mysuru, Feb. 4- BJP leader P.V. Giridhar, who is also a former Dasara Wrestling Sub-Committee President, has urged the MCC to name a Circle in the city in memory of Senior Wrestler Tiger Balaji, who passed away recently.

In a press release, Giridhar said, the city has lost a prominent wrestler in the demise of Balaji, who was popularly known as Tiger Balaji for his wrestling skills.

Highlighting the contribution of Balaji for promotion of wrestling and other sports, he said that Balaji made Mysuru proud through his wrestling achievements. As such, MCC, taking note of Balaji’s achievements and contributions, should name a Circle in the city after him, the release said.
