Plea to start Saturday classes at 9 am instead of 7 am

Mysore/Mysuru: Mysuru City (District) Congress Committee (DCC) has urged the authorities concerned to commence Saturday classes at Schools from 9 am instead of 7 am.

In a press release, DCC Member Radiulla Khan and former Press Secretary of DCC Minority Department Mirza Jamsheed Baig Ashrafi have stated that due to severe cold and mist in the mornings, students from 1st to 10th std. were finding it difficult to attend classes which start at 7 am on Saturdays. Hence, they have urged the Primary and Secondary Education Minister to change the school timings to 9 am on Saturdays.
