PM Modi opens ‘X’ account in Kannada

Bengaluru: With 14 out of 28 Lok Sabha Constituencies in Karnataka scheduled for polls on Apr. 26, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched an exclusive ‘X’ account in Kannada, titled ‘Narendra Modi Kannada’, to connect with a broader section of Karnataka’s population. The handle can be accessed at @Namoinkannada.

While first phase of polling is slated on Apr. 26, the second phase will take place on May 7. Modi’s ‘X’ account in Kannada features video clips of his speeches with translations in Kannada language.

To secure more seats in South, BJP has initiated similar ‘X’ accounts in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam languages, in addition to Odia and Bangla.
