Bengaluru: President Draupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and leaders from across all political parties have expressed their condolences on the demise of former CM S.M. Krishna.

In separate posts on X, the leaders praised the contributions of the former CM and paid heartfelt tributes to his services to the nation.

With the last rites of the departed leader set to take place in Somanahalli, Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar and Mandya District In-charge Minister N. Cheluvarayaswamy visited the village this morning to oversee the arrangements for the final ceremonies.

Political parties, associations, and organisations in Mysuru began paying their respects to the late leader. Condolences flooded in from various sectors, with political leaders expressing their sorrow from early morning.
