Mysuru: Retired ACP D. Dhananjaya said, those willing to join the Police services, should have a mindset to serve the public with honesty.

He was speaking after inaugurating the seventh Mock Test organised for the aspirants of Civil Police Constable competitive exam, at the premises of City Central Library, People’s Park, Nazarbad in city yesterday.

In his advise to aspiring candidates, Dhananjaya said, it is not easy to achieve success instantly. Without losing self-confidence, the candidates should keep their morale to continuously appear for competitive exams.

Sharing various useful information related to the recruitment for Police, Dhananjaya said, it would be more appropriate if, the youngsters, who are educated, have service oriented mind and people friendly nature, join the Police Department.

Deputy Director of City Central Library B. Manjunath said, a comprehensive and final Mock Test will be conducted on July 30.

In the coming days, plans are afoot to conduct special guidance and test for the aspirants of Village Administrative Officers (VAO) and teachers.

Ramesh Narasaiah, retired Deputy Commissioner of Commercial Taxes Department, was present on the occasion.
