Police hold route march ahead of Lok Sabha Election

Mysore/Mysuru: In preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha election and the peaceful celebrations of the Mahashivarathri festival (observed yesterday), a route march was held in the city on Mar. 8.

Led by senior Police officials, including City Police Commissioner Ramesh Banoth and DCP (Law and Order) M. Muthuraj and ACP Narasimharaja Sub-Division Sudhakar, the march aimed to maintain law and order and ensure peace.

Starting at 8 am, the procession commenced from the D.V.N. Circle and proceeded towards the Naidu Nagar bus stop, covering the jurisdiction of the Narasimharaja Sub-Division. The march involved Police personnel from various law and order divisions, demonstrating a unified effort to uphold security measures.

The event was part of the ongoing preparations to safeguard public safety and served as a visible presence of law enforcement, reassuring citizens of the authorities’ commitment to               maintaining order.
