Police install complaint boxes in Nanjangud

Nanjangud: Nanjangud Police have installed complaint boxes at four places in Nanjangud on Monday. The boxes were handed over to Circle Inspector Gopalakrishna and SI C.U. Savi by SP Ravi D. Channannavar on Monday.

The complaint boxes have been installed at KSRTC Bus Stand, Srikanteshwara Temple, Government Girls High School and the Railway Station.

The complaint boxes have been installed at four places in the Temple Town for the residents to lodge complaints pertaining to illegal activities, robbery, menace of drunkards, eve-teasing, bike stunts on roads, suspicious persons, receiving stolen goods, gambling etc. taking place in their localities and villages.

Residents can drop their written complaints in these complaint boxes for the Police to take swift and timely action and the names of complainants would be kept secret, said the SP.
