Police must check those skipping traffic signals

March 5, 2026

Sir,

I welcome the installation of traffic signals at various junctions around Mysuru city.

Though the signals have been installed and are functioning properly, many vehicle owners, especially the two-wheelers, are not following the traffic rules at these junctions and are creating confusion for the public at large by skipping the signals.

I request the Police to look into this rampant signal skipping and regulate the traffic at the traffic signal junctions to avoid inconvenience to the motorists and pedestrians in particular.
