Mysuru: The volleyball team of city’s Police Public School excelled in the volleyball tournaments held in Bagalkot and Mysuru, recently.

At the CBSE Cluster VIII Volleyball Tournament, organised by Dr. Siddanth Dhanigond Central School at Terdal in  Bagalkot, in which a total of 162 teams participated in the U-17 category, the Police Public School team put up an impressive performance and secured third place.

The team continued its winning streak at the Arjuna Elephant Memorial District-Level Volleyball Tournament, organised by the Mysore Physical Education Teachers’ Association at the Palace Sports Club Ground, Kuvempunagar, Mysuru, by emerging as champions.

The team further showcased its sporting excellence by winning the volleyball tournament at District-Level High School Sports Meet organised by Sri Srinivas Prasad Fans Association.

 Adding another feather to its cap, the school participated in the Freedom Volleyball Tournament, organised by the Mysore Physical Education Teachers’ Association at the Maharaja’s P.U. College Ground recently. The school secured first place in the U-17 boys category and second place in the U-14 girls category.
