Poll code: Low-key Jayantis in city

The District Administration will celebrate Basava Jayanti on May 7, Sri Shankaracharya Jayanti on May 9, Shivasharane Hemareddy Mallamma Jayanti on May 10 and Bhagiratha Jayanti on May 11 at 12.30 pm on respective dates in a simple manner at Maneyangala in Kalamandira premises as poll code of conduct is in force, according to a press release from the Kannada and Culture Assistant Director.
