Poll Code Violation: FIR registered against CM

Mysuru:  A First Information Report (FIR) has been registered against Chief Minister Siddharamaiah for allegedly violating the Model Poll Code of Conduct at Alanahalli Police   Station here.

Though the public campaigning came to an end at 6 pm on May 10 (Thursday), the CM, at about 3.25 pm on May 12, was seen campaigning along with about 50-60 persons at Alanahalli Layout in Chamundeshwari Constituency from where he is contesting thus violating the Poll Code of Conduct, according to Dr. B.N. Dharmendra, Member of the four-member-team of Chamundeshwari Constituency Flying Squad, in his complaint.

Based on the complaint, Alanahalli Police have registered a FIR in this regard.
