Ponnimada T. Somaiah (Apputu), passed away at his daughter’s residence at Naladi village, Kakkabe in Madikeri taluk yesterday. He was 90.

He leaves behind three daughters and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at Kodava Samaja Crematorium in Virajpet this noon.
