Postal Kannada tuition for non-Kannadiga

Mysuru: Directorate of Kannada and Culture, together with Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL), is offering an year-long postal tuition in Kannada for Government employees and public who do not know Kannada.

Employees of City Municipal Corporations, KPTCL, KSRTC, Universities, Schools and Colleges and other Government-funded organisations in the State are eligible to register for the postal tuition.

Employees who have to absent from duty to attend contact camps would be given the benefit of On Official Duty (OOD).

General public in the age group of 18 to 50 years and who have passed SSLC can also register for the postal tuition.

The application form can be obtained from the In-Charge Officer, Postal Kannada Tuition Project, CIIL, Manasagangothri, Mysuru.

The filled-in application form, along with a Demand Draft for Rs.250, should be submitted before Nov.15. For details, contact Ph: 0821-2345128, according to a press release from CIIL.
