Mysuru: Condemning District Minister Dr. Yathindra Siddaramaiah’s remarks about the Mysore Palace and the Royal Family, members of ‘Save Hindu Temples’ launched a postcard campaign this morning, sending postcards highlighting the contributions of the Mysore rulers to the Minister’s Office and residence.

As part of the campaign, members posted postcards and a book detailing the contributions of Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar into a post box outside the post office in V.V. Mohalla as a mark of protest.

Nikhilesh of ‘Save Hindu Temples’ said Dr. Yathindra should first educate himself about the subject, pointing out that the Mysore Maharajas had made immense contributions to the State and temples.

“If he lacks information, we have provided the details through postcards and also sent him a book. We request him to take the time to read it,” he said.
