Pothole posing risk to commuters

April 28, 2019

Sir,

Road accidents and mishaps are becoming increasingly common in our cities, despite numerous awareness campaigns and sensitisation programmes. Take a look at what is happening over here in Bogadi 2nd Stage,  near Brahmagiri Stores.

A pothole has formed in the middle of the road, and it is now a risk to ride two-wheelers on this road. Yesterday an aged man fell from his scooter over here. Even though the localites have informed the authorities, no actions have been taken.

With no other way out, some auto-rickshaw drivers filled the pit with wood and other materials they could find, as a temporary solution.

If the authorities do not take  any measures to fix the pothole, it will lead to further mishaps.
