Mysuru: MCC Commissioner M.K. Savitha said that MCC has the responsibility of taking care of Pourakarmikas’ health, who work round-the-clock under strenuous and hazardous situations for maintaining our city clean and tidy.

She was speaking after inaugurating free health check-up camp for Pourakarmikas organised at JSS Hospital in city on Wednesday. Stressing on the need for Pourakarmikas to keep a constant tab on their health as they work under testing and unhygienic conditions every day, Savitha said that the health camp will be of much help to them in maintaining their health.

JSS Mahavidyapeetha Secretary S.P. Manjunath said the late Suttur Seer Dr. Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Swamiji used to say that patients are their kin and accordingly, JSS institutions are working in that direction providing a variety of services to the  people.

JSS Mahavidyapeetha Executive Secretary Dr. C.G. Betsurmath, JSS Hospital Director Dr. C.P. Madhu, Deputy Medical Superintendent Dr. M.C. Prasad, staff and officials of MCC and JSS Hospital were present.
