Power of fascinating Numeral ‘8’

Research into science of ancient Vaastu and Vedic astrology reveals that numbers have a deeper meaning and unique strength. In Vedic astrology and Feng Shui, out of the numerals 1 to 9, the number 8 has a special meaning and position. Number 8 is the most fascinating and enigmatic single digit number. Although many avoid the number,  this number continues to be the most controversial single digit number in the world of Astrology and Numerology. In Indian Vedic astrology, the number 8 is said to represent Lord Saturn and compass direction in Vaastu is West. However, Saturn in Vedic astrology is not something dreaded but is also considered to be one who bestows big wealth and opportunities based on the individuals natal charts. Those who have viewed images of Saturn will agree that Saturn is indeed unique. In Vedic astrology, number 8 is said to be favorable to all philosophers, deep thinkers and philanthropist.

In Feng Shui, the almanac is divided into 20-year cycles and each cycle has a reigning number, the current cycle is ruled by 8 and is referred to as “Period of 8.” The number 8 is very highly regarded as a particularly lucky number and is one of the three white numbers that bring prosperity and abundance. The numeral 8 is the symbol of infinity that is familiar to mathematicians if you rotate it 90 degrees. Hence in Feng Shui, the number 8 is highly revered. In mandarin, the word eight sounds like prosper or wealth (  = fā). which in turn is short for = fā cái which means get rich.

• 3 as these two numbers create the auspicious Ho Tu combination

• 2 creates the sum of ten with 8 and this is considered very lucky.

• 1 and 6 creates the magic of 168, a combination of three white numbers.
