Power shutdown in rural areas: Will the CM intervene?

October 27, 2023

Sir,

In order to enhance Dasara tourism, the city of Mysuru is illuminated while the farmers in rural areas are having power shutdown from 8 am to 6 pm.

Wonder, if our Chief Minister Siddharamaiah is aware of it?

The farmer, who provides you food, is getting just three phase power to irrigate his crop from 9 pm to 2 am.

Obviously, the inconvenience caused matters little to the people concerned.

Do they (authorities concerned) think he (farmer) is immune to snake bites and being attacked by leopards and wild boars?

On behalf of hundreds of farmers, I request our Chief Minister Siddharamaiah, who hails from Siddaramanahundi in Varuna Constituency of Mysuru district, to intervene and provide uninterrupted power supply to rural areas also.
