Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana launched at Apollo Hospital

The Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana to assure nourishment of new-born children was launched at Apollo Hospital in city recently.

Pregnant women and lactating mothers are also eligible for this scheme. The benefits of this scheme is that the mother will be paid Rs.5,000 in three instalments for the first live child. About 60 pregnant women took part in the launch.
