Prajwal Revanna’s return journey plan a hoax!

May 16, 2024

Bengaluru: Yet again the speculations over Hassan JD(S) MP Prajwal Revanna, accused of sex abuse, returning to the country from abroad turned into a hoax, thus prolonging the wait over his arrival, keeping the Special Investigation Team (SIT) personnel guessing about his whereabouts.

A flight ticket for return journey in Lufthansa Airlines had been booked in the name of Revanna Prajwal, from Munich in Germany to Kempegowda International Airlines Limited (KIAL) in Bengaluru, with the flight scheduled to take off at 12.05 pm yesterday and reach here at 00.30 hours (12.30 am) today. Along with Prajwal, seven others had booked the ticket, but only the former changed his decision to return at the last minute, it is said.

Earlier too, Prajwal had cancelled his return journey twice, but the speculations had gained ground this time, with even SIT personnel confirming the plans of Prajwal to come back, with the definite information received in this regard. They had been camping at the airport since morning hours.

On the other hand, it is said that, a six-member team of SIT personnel has gone to Germany and are making efforts to convince Prajwal to bring him back to the country. However, they are forbidden from applying force to bring Prajwal along with them. Hence they have failed in their efforts to convince him, it is said. It is also said that, a friend of Prajwal is also with him, but there is no definite information about his identity.

Meanwhile, former PM and JD(S) Supremo H.D. Deve Gowda is seeking advise from senior lawyers of High Court at his residence, in relation to the charges framed against his family members including his son and Holenarasipur MLA H.D. Revanna.
