Pramoda Devi flags off Memory Walk

Mysore/Mysuru: As part of World Alzheimer’s Month (September), a Memory Walk was organised by ARDSI (Alzheimer’s Related Disorders Society of India), Rotary Mysore, JSS Medical College and Hospital and Sarada Vilas College of Pharmacy in city recently.  Pramoda Devi Wadiyar of Mysore royal family flagged off the walk at Palace North Gate.

Over 400 students, Rotarians, Rotaractors and members of the public took part in the walk from Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple to Kukkarahalli Lake via main thoroughfares of the city. The walk aimed to promote awareness of Alzheimer’s — a disease that affects nearly a quarter of all seniors in varying degrees.
